BESPOKE, COUTURE, DESIGN  BESPOKE From the dictionary, this means 'making goods to order.' It is most often associated with tailoring, especially men's suits and with fine furniture.  COUTURE The design and manufacture of fashionable clothes, according to the same dictionary, but really it usually denotes something hand-made and to an exact fit which gives that special finish that Jackie O or Audrey Hepburn would understand.  DESIGN The dictionary I have doesn't get to grips so easily with this. In reality it is many things but it mostly means something well thought out, planned and beautifully executed. |
